Hope you’ve all had a good weekend. It’s been pretty quiet around Chelsea in terms of transfer news, but the club are trying to push through some sales now.
We did have another new player announced though, and we also had a game to watch!
Chelsea lost 2-1 against Tottenham on Saturday morning and as a Chelsea fan, I’m never going to be OK with that. Losing to Spurs is annoying, but it is just our second pre-season game so absolutely no need at all for any over-reactions to any friendly games. I have plenty to say on the game though, which you can read here.
Danny Welbeck was the player we announced as a new signing on Saturday afternoon, and a good signing this is in my view. I think it’s smart, so does John Terry, and in general, Chelsea fans seem happy with it. Get the full report and Welbeck quotes here.

Umm can’t ever remember wellbeck being a player on people’s lips for the club to sign over the past 10-15 years Might be something to do with his level and is a real indicator to where the club is with recruitment and quality.
Diogo Costa news seems to be circulating! I hope this is true!!! He seemed to say farewell after the game yesterday!
