Loan Army: Roundup

Lets see how our loan army are getting on.....

Good Evening, Ladies and Gents,

Welcome back to the 23/24 season loan army report. This is a summary of what our loan players have been up to over the last week or so.

Remember I don’t include players who are out on loan with a Buy Option.

Lets get into it……

Gaga Slonina:

Last week I ran a poll on this loan and 83% of you voted for Gaga to stay put and see his loan in Belgium through, which I am quite pleasantly surprised with, this is something I wanted to see from the start of the season when other were complaining about it!

There is a winter break in Belgium currently.

Bashir Humphreys:

Bash played 33 minutes in Swansea’s comfortable 2-0 victory over Morecambe in the FA Cup this weekend.

Cesare Casadei:

Cesare had his best game in a Leicester shirt, at least in terms of G+A, he scored 1 and set up another in Leiceter’s 3-2 FA Cup win over Millwall.

The assist was an excellent first time, weak foot pass. His goal was a superb header at the back post.

Tino Anjorin:

Tino is still injured, due back by the end of January.

Omari Hutchinson:

Omari played 81 minutes v AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup last weekend, Ipswich won 3-1.

Harvey Vale:

Harvey played the full 90 yet again for Bristol Rovers in their 1-1 draw away to Norwich in the FA Cup, which is being replayed next Wednesday.

Charlie Webster:

Charlie played the full 90 in a friendly at the weekend, the Dutch league are on a winter break currently.

No stats or records were available for this game.

Diego Moreira:

Diego played the full 90 in a 3-0 win in the Coupe de France v lower league Pontarlier.

Looking at the stats and player reviews, no goal involvements or much involvement at all as Diego had a fairly poor game.

This loan needs to be cut and Diego either needs a more realistic loan or to stay with the PL2 side whilst training with the first team and waiting for an oppurtunity off the bench.

Mason Burstow:

Another unused sub role for Mason, this week at home to Newcastle in the FACup.

David Datro Fofana:

DDF has today been recalled from his loan in Berlin.

Angelo Gabriel:

Angelo played 75 minutes in a 4-0 win in the Coupe de France v lower league Avoine.

No goal involvements and a fairly average showing from Angelo from the reviews I have read.

Dion Rankine:

Another good performance from Dion this week as he played 87 minutes at home to Carlisle at the weekend.

He is hitting some momentum in this loan spell now.

Alex Matos:

A really harsh debut for Alex, he started for Huddersfield in the FA Cup away to Man City, they lost 5-0 and he got yellow carded.

BUT, a fairly well followed Huddersfield fan tweeted the below during the game.

Jamie Cumming:

Jamie has today joined Oxford on loan for the rest of the season

Eddie Beach:

Eddie joined Gateshead on loan on Tuesday and last night made his debut, unfortunately for him they played runaway league leaders and lost 5-0.
