Yeah I did think this but the mandatory clause is only with Promotion I believe (could be wrong) will do some research and if it’s a given then I’ll remove him
If it’s not too much work for you, Luke I think it’s always worthwhile as having reviews on these players that are subject to options/obligations until the transaction actually happens. It’s also good to see how they’re getting on for a general perspective in the immediate move from the club. Only if you have time, obviously.
Sorry I stand corrected. I just double checked again and they have signed him for £14.7m with an obligation to buy on a 5 year deal. I haven't found any mention that it was dependent on whether Burnley get promoted or not, or or if there is any buy back clause.
No you are correct, and in any case, his new club said on their website it was an option to buy not an obligation so it's confusing.. Even in their fans forum they didn't know for sure as they were moaning about why would they pay £14.7m for him when they thought he didn't do that well at Swansea on loan the previous season. I know, because I viewed it myself lol.
