Loan Army 24/25: Roundup & 2 Scouting Reports......
Lets see how our loan army are getting on.....
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
Lets see what our loan army have been up to this week……. Also, stay tuned at the end for 2 (TWO) Scouting reports on potential targets.
Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Doncaster Rovers) - Goalkeeper;
A 11 draw and 3 saves for Teddy last weekend. He is getting loads of minutes and experience at League Two level this season, a really good loan spell so far.
Ted Curd (Hampton & Richmond) - Goalkeeper;
A 4-0 win and a clean sheet for Ted before he went off and joined England U19s this week.
Eddie Beach (Crawley Town) - Goalkeeper;
Eddie is still out injured currently.
Gaga Slonina (Barnsley) - Goalkeeper;
Slonina is currently carrying a knock and has missed the last 4 games.
Alfie Gilchrist (Sheffield United) - Right Back;
Alfie went and picked up MOTM and a clean sheet in the Sheffield derby last weekend, a proper performance, solid defensively and tidy on the ball! A Premier League loan is calling next season for Alf.
Dylan Williams (Burton Albion) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Dylan was rested at the weekend, he was back in the lineup in the thumping 5-2 away win v Northampton this midweek where he was MOTM, scored a goal and got an assist.
Aaron Anselmino (Boca Juniors) - Centre Back;
Aaron has been in good form of late but I want to lean into what my friend who watched him live said to me about his performance last week.
“He was brilliant, so progressive on the ball, a threat at set-pieces and a real warrior. Proper South American defender but a modern day one.”
Caleb Wiley (RC Strasbourg) - Left Back/Wing Back;
Caleb is still returning to fitness after a long injury lay off, he came on for the final 7 minutes against Monaco at home
Andrey Santos (RC Strasbourg) - Centre Midfield;
Another really solid performance for Andrey who is ranked so highly against midfielders in his age bracket across Europe. He is having a wonderful season although Strasbourg did lose their last game against Monaco.
Bashir Humphreys (Burnley) - Centre Back;
Just the final 23 mins for Bash against Swansea at homr last weekend.
Lesley Ugochukwu (Southampton) - Holding Midfield;
He came on for the final 32 minutes when Wolves were already 2-0 up against Southampton. Lesley isn’t the sort of player to bring on to rescue the game. Questionable man management from Russell Martin.
Armando Broja (Everton) - Striker;
Still injured.
Kendry Paez (Independiente del Valle) - No.10/Attacker;
Kendry played his first full 90 in some while last weekend, he is being managed so well at club level and not over-worked or overloaded.
Estevao Willian (Palmeiras) - Right Winger;
I am already running out of superlatives for this boy and hes not even put a Chelsea shirt on yet. Another 90, another goal and another MOTM last week.
I’m sure you have all seen the stats on him this week, in his first 27 league games he has 20 G/A’s, quite a way more than Rodrygo, Neymar and Vinicius at this stage of their young careers in Brazil.
Djordje Petrovic - (Strasbourg) - Goalkeeper;
Djrodje was kept busy last weekend, 5 saves even in a 3-1 loss his shot stopping is certainly being used in Ligue 1 this season.
Trevoh Chalobah (Crystal Palace) - Centre Back;
Albeit palace lost 2-0 at home to Fulham Trev was still rated 8/10, he played very well by all accounts.
Ronnie Stutter (Burton Albion) - Striker;
Still on the sidelines currently.
Leo Castledine (Shrewsbury Town) - Attacking Midfield;
A 2-0 Loss to Burton last weekend, Leo played well in the game getting a 7/10.
Mike Penders (Genk) - Goalkeeper
As usual a bench role for Penders.
Just to confirm I am not updating on Raheem Sterling or Kepa Arrizabalaga on purpose.
SCOUT REPORTS x 2;
Just brief numbers for 2 potential options, players revealed in the comments later this evening…….
A CDM who stands at 6ft2in , a good build, brings versatility experience and leadership. He has played 18 games, 3 MOTM awards and scored 10 goals.
Next up is a versatile player who can cover in midfield, full back and wide attacking areas.
He is only 5ft7in, slow but physical and has a good left foot. Brings a vocal and versatile body to any team. He has played 66 games, 9 MOTM awards and scored 60 goals in the last 18 months.
Thanks for reading.
Luke Rushbrook

For those wondering the CDM is a certain Mr Simon Phillips and the Versatile midget is myself!
Although been friends for a couple years Si and I discovered that we both play in the same league albeit in our local towns (we live 3 hours apart) so not competitive against each other but stats are recorded on the website!
You crack me up Luke!!😂. And by the way a great read with some real positives.
