Welcome to hump day once again! Chelsea play tomorrow! Yep, that’s right, even after playing on Monday night.
I suspect we will see a very different starting Xl to the one that beat Fulham, when we take on Luton Town in the second round of the EFL Cup this Thursday night at 7.30pm.
This week is going to be dominated by transfer deals though, with Enzo Fernandez being the biggest subject. As he gets even closer to a move to join Manchester City this window, will Chelsea replace him? And if so, who with? I can reveal the Plan A to replace Fernandez here, as well as a brand new midfield name the club are looking at, and a general breakdown of all the midfield situations expected this week.

Hi I know the transfer windows are your special thing but I wish they would finish before the season starts. It’s just a mess when the season starts and transfers are still going on. City are going to get Fernandez so just bloody do it and don’t make it into a soap opera.
