Any further news on existing non-Academy players who Chelsea are moving on? All very well signing players but the squad size needs to be kept in check. Academy players need to go on loan to gain experience of playing regularly, no point hoarding them at home.
Damn Luke you really got me excited. If we get these 2 players we could be in for a very good season. Now to working on Sanchez ball distribution and we’ll really be good.
Think the height for both players are wrong. Simons def taller than 5’7 and looks around 5’10. Hato could be 6’0 but seems a bit taller at around 6’1/6’2. Based on comparisons of other players on photos and videos.
Thanks for a fantastic review of both players that will hopefully add superby to our squad and shows how the ownership and SD's are putting us on an updward projecturay.
Those numbers were last season where Leipzig hugely under performed as a unit, scoring just 53 goals in comparison to 77 the season before. As well as being in the bottom half of the table for a lot of the season, they pulled it back to 7th in the end.
Ajax don't defend, a bit like us, they dominate the ball so much that the amount a defender will have to tackle is minimal.

Been a while since the last time we had a quality dutch player, Robben wouldve been the last one. Hope both of these get done fast.
Thanks for the profile breakdowns, Luke. Xavi and Jorrel do have so much potential and I'm excited.

Simons looks a proper star
I remember that goal he scored against England that was pretty special on a big occasion too
Let's hope we get them over the line, both look exceptional players.
You make it sound exciting. Thanks Luke
arent Simons shots, non penalty XG, carries and take ons % a bit of a worry? Considering he has played in leagues where attackers usually thrive.
For Hato the tackling stats dont look good too

Excellent analysis of Jorrel Hato and Xavi Simons, Luke!!
