My Thoughts:

I am a little surprised overall but definitely would be happy with a lot of the decisions YOU all made.

I am surprised we had barely any suggestions for a left forward/winger, they were all for right forward/winger which is where Cole Palmer will predominantly play when everyone is fit.

The reason I say this is due to MY ideal XI at the start of next season (see further below), two players I would love to have seen even suggested are Joachim Andersen and Douglas Luiz, both players have lots of PL experience, are leaders and would add to our squad whilst not necessarily demanding to be starters (Andersen especially).

DISCLAIMER: I am not saying Petrovic, Gusto, Disasi, Gallagher or anyone else I have left out are not good enough to play in this team, far from it. IF as we hope we have some form of European football next season then everyone will have plenty of game time.

To go to the next level we need a top class GK, LW & ST in my opinion, and maybe a LB as well, as much as I love Chilly. There are lots of IFs and BUTs with fitness etc. but if we had a cup final tomorrow and everyone was fit and firing then this 8 have to start for me.

This is even harder to write after how well some of these players have played over the last couple of weeks but realistically and long term thinking comes into this.
