Where and how would Jadon Sancho fit?
Is it a good deal for the blues?
Good Evening Ladies and Gents,
So the Jadon Sancho - Raheem Sterling swap whispers have started to get slightly louder over the last 24 hours or so.
Firstly, I think a club like Man U are our only hope of getting Sterling off the books permanently and a ‘PSR Favour’ could massively suit both sides from a financial standpoint.
I think one huge factor should be the departure of a further attacker, for me Mykhailo Mudryk needs to go on loan and get his confidence back. Maybe to RDZ and Marseille or maybe somewhere else abroad and away from the limelight.
If we get rid of one further attacker (ideally a Mudryk loan) then it would leave Neto and Felix from the left, Palmer and Nkunku in the 10 and then Madueke and Sancho from the right. 2 for every position is pretty standard especially when we’re in for potentially up to 70 games this season because of the new Club World Cup format.
This leaves us with enormous depth in attacking areas and a lot of fluidity and versatility from them all.
I personally think Mudryk may be on his way out on a permanent next summer so a smart move would be to get him a good loan and try and reinstate some of his value. A good loan and confidence boost could hopefully see that happen.
I really like Sancho and was desperate for us to sign him back in the summer of 2021. His Man U career has not panned out the way he or anyone else thought it would, he had a really strong end to last season with 5 months on loan at Borussia Dortmund where we got to see the old Jadon Sancho.
If we can get this version of him back then this could be a real coup, the early rumours are that he’s happy with our wage structure as well.
What do you all think about this one?
Thanks for reading!

Would take him if it meant moving Raz on but tbh there’s so little time now left in transfer window and I’m not hopeful that selling him, getting Mudryk out on loan and getting in a striker is going to happen. That’s before we even consider what’s going to happen with Chilly, if Broja is actually going to leave or loans for DDF, Petrovich etc. So much to do and so little time!
I would much prefer Sancho over Sterling. It has the potential to be another flop deal. But my understanding is that one of the main reasons that his ManU 'career' didn't plan out was due to an experience of low mental health. It seems that he recovered/learnt to live with it when back at Dortmund.
Need to remember that he helped get Dortmund to the UCL final.
A swap deal between Sancho and Sterling would be the better deal for us.
