Stats and data is a guide but not a benchmark however its written up, same with player data.

We won matches with Conor and no Enzo, make of that what you will. We are still in the same boat a previous seasons, poor GK no Striker of note, midfield of midgets and easy to walk through. I was please that Enzo M dropped his prefered playing "style" and matched Citeh man for man, it showed where we are in this moment, just not good enough lots to do. Its all too early to base a season off, look again after game 6, and 100% yes we need 73 points as a target, this is the fun on the footie its emotional, we love the pull week in week out, the club needs to win not just on the pitch but win over the fans, they have 6 weeks at best.

Felix is a player do or did we need him, does not matter now he is back, lets see if you can work hard and win us some games

Wow, aren’t we lucky two articles in one day. 😂

Seriously, thank you for your well written data based analysis. It’s hard to disagree with anything you say and I genuinely agree with the sentiments you have. In fact, I think just conceding less goals should be sufficient for us to turn a few of those results from last season, gain more points and ensure we get a top four position.

My only question in respect of everything that the data provides is we also need to account for the probability that Cole Palma will not score as many goals this season as he did last season.

He Definitely exceeded expectation and it will be very hard for him to match the total he achieved last year but with the players that we have in the squad I am sure any drop-off can be picked up by other team members.

If we don’t get Osimhen then the season is in the bin, simple as that. UCL qualification or bust.
