He revolutionised defending in the PL. His impact when he signed was truly incredible, and what I would give to have his ability to play passes in our defence. Not only that, but one of the few players who I felt confident when taking a penalty, even under the most intense pressure (last minute in the cup against Leicester after that horrible assault on Erland Johnsen, anyone?!).
He got pilloried because he was set up on They Think It's All Over but for me he was the epitome of that successful late 90s side. He also was wrongly blamed for Luca's sacking.
Yes, he was a chelsea captain but this is the same guy who said Potter deserved to be sacked and that he and Craig Burley can fix the team! That was really poor from him. These guys don't even know to put up the cones in training and find its easy to ask for coaches to be sacked while sitting on their arm chairs.
Still congrats as he surely is a big Chelsea name.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, and Frank is a fan just like anyone else. I respect a lot of his opinions and agree with a lot. But there is not one person who I will always 100% agree with, that's the nature of this sport. He's a Chelsea legend and cares deeply still about our club.
