We HAVE to make a decision on a striker ASAP

This is not a situation/position we can allow to wait any longer

Good Evening Ladies and Gents,

I am fairly patient and positive as you all know but I’m getting a bit twitchy with the striker situation, or lack of……

To me it is a no brained that we need a No9 and I know there is a bit of a dilemma and debate around the profile of that player within the club and the fan base but we are over a month in to this window without this situation being resolved and we cannot allow it to go on much longer.

This position needs addressing with high importance (as does GK) and we have had enough time to decide on the profile of player we want to approach, I understand waiting for the euros and/or copa America to finish as well in case they throw up any scenarios or opportunities.

Now is the time to address these and be decisive, it HAS to be addressed in this window and with Nico Jackson currently injured we cannot afford to go into the season with one recognised No9.

I know we need to sell to buy which is fair enough but as soon as we sell I expect to see striker rumours get extremely hot and a player through the door immediately!!

What profile of Striker do you all want and WHO do you want??

For me it is Ivan Toney, people have hugely differing opinions on him but he is the perfect profile at the right sort of price range and experience level in my view.
