The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 21st November 2025!
Morning all,
I hope you’ve had a good week as we reach Friday and the return of domestic football!
Chelsea are back in action against Burnley in the lunchtime kick off this Saturday, and it’s a chance to keep piling on that pressure at the top.
You can round up all of your latest general Chelsea news leading up to the game from across the last 24 hours here, covering all you need to know.
My big article of the day is around Todd Boehly and some comments he made this week. I’m really not happy with what he has said and how he’s disrespected an entire fan base. He’s basically told any fan who has been criticising the project that they don’t know what they’re talking about. I can’t quite believe it…. Words on all of that here. Todd, be humble, pal…. We aren’t ‘back’ yet either.
Former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair admits he has been bored watching Chelsea in the last few seasons, that is until this season when everything has changed in his view. Get his comments and vote on the polls whether you agree or not here.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been defending Enzo Maresca against a Sunderland fan who was criticising him on Sky Sports this week. Jimmy has fired back in here, and you can watch the whole debate in this too.
Respected football journalist for The Daily Mirror, Darren Lewis, says Chelsea are not Premier League title contenders this season due to a lack of balance between youth and experience in their squad. Do you agree? Get your votes in here and see what he has said.
We also had the latest Podcast out yesterday with some top Chelsea discussions between myself and Jai. Check that here if you haven’t already!
Big game tomorrow, I’ll have the Live Discussion Thread back on the Substack App so join us there. I’ll be back on the site on Sunday to review.
Have a good weekend all.
COME ON CHELSEA!!!!
Peace, Si.

He’s a money man/person not a football one, they all are so it’s hard to explain why we expect him to care. He wants success in everything he does but it has to be his way. He’s bought into cricket as well because he can see untapped markets and I reckon he’s not an expert there. I think we are in a particular time where very rich and or powerful people don’t even like discussion let alone criticism.
