Thomas Frank on being interviewed to become Chelsea boss, Malo Gusto deserves praise after spike in form, Enzo Fernandez called Caicedo to get him to join, Andy Brassell unconvinced by Jamie Gittens..
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 18th November 2025!
Morning all,
Welcome to the latest Chelsea FC Newsletter! We are back to domestic football this week and the end of international games until March! YES!
First of all, as we start to build up towards Burnley at the weekend, round up all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.
Malo Gusto has had a great international break and he’s been bossing it for France. He’s also improved his consistency and performances a lot for Chelsea after a stuttering start this season. He deserves his praise here.
One player who has yet to hit the ground running though is Jamie Gittens. Many Chelsea fans have so far been left unconvinced by the winger. However, he is young, and we need to afford him some time. I think Andry Brassell’s analysis on Gittens is pretty on point here.
There was an excellent interview out with Enzo Fernandez earlier this week, and I have some of the quotes from it as well as the video to watch it in full here. He speaks about how Chelsea asked him to call Moises Caicedo to convince him to join the club!
Thomas Frank could have easily been Chelsea’s manager right now. He was interviewed right before Enzo Maresca was hired. It didn’t happen, but Frank has been speaking about the interview here.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.45am on the home page today!
Peace, Si.
