This is a bit of a waffle article, as well as a thank you to all of you.
The transfer window can be a difficult time for fans
Good Evening Ladies and Gents,
It is a bit of a struggle at the minute to speak about or create a topic that’s not contentious within the fan base.
We are a fairly bipolar fan base anyway, with some fans being against everything done at the club, some fans overly optimistic and then a big chunk of fans somewhere along the line between the two.
The reason I love this site and community that Si has built and I feel no topic is to contentious to discuss (within reason) although people will have and display their views it is never abusive, aggressive etc etc.
For that I would like to say thank you to you all.
Si and I generally have similar opinions whenever we chat but we both take completely different routes to get there with myself generally taking the country roads (overly chilled and relaxed, too much so a lot of the time) and Si being very eloquent but also direct in my opinion and says it completely as it is, he’s almost never reactionary and hits the nail on the head most of the time.
The reason for this article is because I know how hard the transfer window can be as fans, and generally how difficult it is being a Chelsea fan currently, especially always reading people talk X, Y and Z about us as a club and fan base with no truth or context behind it.
This community generally always sticks together, is appreciative and respectful even when tensions are high and speaking for myself, when we give opinions at a heightened moment it could be so easy to rant and rave and people do to an extent but respectfully which for me gives me the confidence to be able to speak my thoughts entirely!
I am not a journalist, an ITK or anything to be honest, I’m just a Scout and a fan that became friends with Si through the community he created and voice my opinions to an audience that isn’t social media (thankfully).
Moving on from the transfer window and beyond, what content do you guys want to see from me?
I feel like it’s time for some fresh new content and ideas!
Please chuck any ideas you may have in the comments and I will work with it.

Hi Luke. I really like the loan army articles you put up as that info isn’t really easily available to find in one place. Was just thinking whether it might be worth doing something similar on what’s happening with the academy teams/players occasionally - an academy round up? Also we don’t really hear a lot about the women’s team on this blog. With a new coach and the success the women’s team have I’d find it interesting to know a bit more about what’s going on with them.
Hi Luke, great article at a tough time. We all wait and see what this season brings and none of us really know what to expect with this upcoming campaign if we're honest, strange days indeed. It's great to have this community where we can all share our thoughts and feelings.
I would love to see an article called something like, 'what ever happened to'
Based on players from our club that's disappeared especially those before social media. For instance, we once had a player called Jerry Murphy who had the best left foot and I don't know what became of him and dozens of others and I think it would be an interesting read for us long time supporters
