We should forget about the league position and focus on finishing the season with 3 wins from 3.
That sets up nicely for a positive pre-season and probably keeps the manager in a job.
The reason why I'm not concerned with the final position but instead with winning is the feeling it gives towards next season. I've been highly critical of the manager and I doubt he'll be around for the start of season after next, but we need positive vibes everywhere. Its been such a long season, poor performances, injuries, highs and lows, I'm in a position now where I'm happy to just sign off with consistency and move on.
Also need Manure to beat Arsenal as I really don't want that shower winning the league.
More in hope than anticipation I think this will be how it ends up.
Spurs LLW 63 pts
Newcastle WLW 62 pts
Chelsea WWW 63 pts
Man U LWW 60 pts
Gut feeling is that we'll finish 7th
I recon (probably more in hope)
Newcastle WLD 60 pts
Chelsea WDW 61 pts
Man U LWD 58 pts
Oh what the hell, just for giggles lets add
Spurs LLL 60 pts :)
😂 would be super spursy and I love it
Actually my fav scenario would be:
Spurs LLL 60 pts
Newcastle WLW 62 pts
Chelsea WWW 63 pts
Man U DWW 61 pts
Now that would be proper spursy! :)
Us beating them with 14 injuries and finishing above them
LUV IT

Ideally
Newcastle lose this weekend
Beat arsenal
Then drop points V Brentford
And with Newcastle this season that is very much possible
