The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 11th September 2025!
Morning all,
It’s been very quiet this week as expected but things will soon start brewing up as the domestic football is back this weekend and also, January transfer news will start coming in soon whether you like it or not! I’ll soon have some insider stuff out on our plans for the winter window 👀. So do stick with us here and as always, a massive thanks to everyone here and especially those who stick with us through all seasons! I love this community that we have all built up together.
Round up all of your latest Chelsea news in general from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. This covers all you need to know from the wonderful world of Chels!
Ladies and gents, guess what? We only have Rob bloody Pratley back in the building today! He’s written possibly the longest and most detailed tactical article we have ever had on this site, and it’s well worth your time and the read. Many want to see more Women’s content on this site, and Rob is literally the best person to provide that. He’s got a big tactical analysis article for you all to feast on here.
Yesterday was the day of big claims, and let’s begin with some made by former Chelsea winger Pat Nevin. Many will agree with his views here, but many will disagree too. I think he’s made some very good points but don’t quite back it all. Make your mind up on what you think in the comments!
And the second big claim you can read about here. Basically Emile Heskey has HUGE belief in Joao Pedro. You’ll need to read the article in full to see what I’m talking about here.
I don’t do superstitions, so when you read this article here, you’re not allowed to come after me at any point afterwards! 😂. Reece James is showing not only consistently great form right now, but also sustained and consistent game time, and it’s a reason to celebrate!
Thanks for stopping by. See you on the next live blog from around 8.45am today!
Peace, Si.

Great to see some more women’s content because it’s a world class team with some of the best players there are. My take on it is all the teams that wear the shirt from the academy up represent Chelsea football club.
I don’t do superstition either but in the 1970 FA Cup winning campaign, I saw every kick of it and for those three months, superstition took over.
In the 3rd round v Birmingham City, I’d been working that Saturday morning and went straight to the game wearing, for the first time to a game, my work suit, shirt & tie etc.
I then got it into my head that this must be fate so I watched every other match of the 1970 cup run in that same suit. Oh, and for good measure, I decided it would be a good idea to avoid having my hair cut until we were eliminated or won it!!
Bloody stupid, I know but it worked! 😂😂😂
