I wanted to write this as an article because mainly, I just wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has put my name forward in two categories for this year’s Football Content Awards.
Honestly, I was truly humbled by this and massively appreciative. I didn’t even put it out there asking to be nominated, but some of you good people have clearly put my name forward, so I am TRULY thankful for that. The best football fan community in the world, hands down. It’s not even a debate.
So, we are in it now. We might as well go all out to win it, right? I mean, I am up against some huge names and channels, but let’s give it a good go eh? I need you help to do so!
Voting is open now here.
I am a finalist in the Best Written Football Content category!
I am a finalist in the Best Club Content Creator - Premier League category!
So if you use the link above, look for the two categories mentioned, and click my name, your vote will be registered.
How unreal would it be to get SPTC on the map a bit more and win one of these. I mean, I’m up against some incredible football writers in the first category, the likes of Oliver Kay, Ben Jacobs, and Henry Winter.
However, I think we might stand a slight chance of winning the best club content creator category if I really push it. So here I am, really pushing it!
If you can all vote, that would be truly amazing!
Simon Phillips does not even own a suit let alone wear one. So, if you want to see Simon Phillips in a suit and fully out of his comfort zone, get voting now 😂 I’m actually quite introverted, so being the centre of attention is not something I’m ever comfortable with. So it will be worth forcing me out of my comfort zone alone right!?
Thank you all again, so so much :)

Congratulations on the nomination Si, recognition for all of your fantastic hard work.
