I’ve been asking some questions on Romeo Lavia the last couple of days, and sources have given me some solid info on this.

To recap, Chelsea reportedly made a £50m offer to sign the Southampton midfielder on deadline day in the summer. However, I understand this offer was not an official offer and was more of a late verbal enquiry from Todd Boehly and Chelsea, as they looked for a midfielder to bring in last minute.
