As Chelsea’s transfer plans start to take shape, we will naturally start to hear more names who the club will be taking a close look at.

I have another general transfer update article out today which you can find on the home page, and in there you will see that there is still plans to bring in a new centre back.

I have spoken about the centre back situations a few times on here but basically, Trevoh Chalobah is very likely to be sold in January, Thiago Silva is fairly likely to be leaving in the summer, and Wesley Fofana will soon be coming back from another long-term injury. The centre back position is certainly one that has been heavily discussed internally of late, with names being put forward, scouted, and monitored.
