Hope you’re enjoying your week so far.
Things have gone a bit quiet on the transfer front at Chelsea, but quite often this window that means that something comes out of nowhere. And I’ve heard some things on that and also a possible new target in here via our sources. There is still plenty to unfold and plenty to still happen.
I of course do still have some doubts, but this here is what I would really like our squad to look like come the end of the window. We only have 25 days left, we might need to now get a move on with outgoings, because the squad needs massively trimming.
I still see us making stupid decisions though, but I just hope that these decisions will not be pinned on Xabi Alonso. I speak about that here.
I do feel much better with Dave Fallows and Alonso in the room though. They are implementing a big change in our recruitment policy, and I am so pleased for that. In this one here, there is also some sourced info on the directors and owners!
