The impossible task of making sense of the situations
I have to start by saying that we are now in the climax of the transfer window so please be aware that even minutes or hours after I write this article (6.20am on Thursday UK time), things can change in all of these situations very fast.
The info in this could soon become irrelevant or change. That is because negotiations are ongoing for all of the above players and goal posts move and things change. Chelsea are trying a number of different tactical games right now as our other clubs. Part of these tactics are to feed the media with different bits of info to put pressure on clubs and players, and Chelsea are doing that as well as other clubs (RB Leipzig with the Tottenham interest in Xavi Simons is a prime example).
Alejandro Garnacho
We’ll start here because it’s the easiest situation. This is basically done pending the needed sales in attack. Chelsea will sign Garnacho for a fee we are hearing will be close to £40m give or take with add-ons (will depend which side is reporting it on the actual final fee - we will never truly know exactly what it will be).
