Sources: New manager situations - where we're at

It's a process but things starting to move along now

As we reported from the off, we are not expecting to hear anything too conclusive on the new manager search just yet, but things are starting to move now into this week.

There’s a lot of speculation and things being reported and said, but a lot of that will be sparked by agents at this point.

Chelsea will be taking their time to make sure they make the right appointment, at least that is what they are saying they will do.

As I reported over the weekend, they ideally want to get the new manager in place BEFORE the World Cup starts. So we shouldn’t have too much longer to wait really.

Chelsea already had a list of managers that they liked, whether you want to call that a shortlist or not. So all the names you have seen floating around so far with at least have some weight to it. Whether the club action that interest on some of these names or not, remains to be seen.
