Sources: Liam Rosenior tells squad he trusts them all, Sources: Palmer, Gusto, James injury news for tonight, 'Puppet master' Eghbali slammed for 'dehumanising policy', I don't care about Gallagher...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 14th January 2026!
Morning all,
We’ve made it to hump day and we’ve made it to another Chelsea match day, Liam Rosenior’s second game in charge. And it’s a tough one.
The Blues face Arsenal at Stamford Bridge tonight in the first leg of the League Cup semi final at 8pm.
There’s still a lot of criticism and fan discontent towards the owners at our club, with Behdad Eghbali receiving the brunt of it all. He’s even been targeted by a lecturer this week! Full comments here on the ‘dehumanising policy’ setup by BlueCo and Eghbali being called a ‘puppet master’.
Conor Gallagher is joining Tottenham and it seems like some people have lost their s**t about it. Maybe I’m alone here, but I don’t really care where Conor Gallagher goes. I explain my reasoning for that here.
A couple of sourced articles as well as the live blog from yesterday that covers all your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here, to finish things up for this newsletter…
I had some injury news from our sources out ahead of the game tonight, published yesterday. You can find out the fate of Cole Palmer, Malo Gusto, and Reece James ahead of tonight, here.
And finally, Liam Rosenior has dropped the old ‘clean slate’ towards his squad. Well, I guess it’s understandable though, but he’s told every player in his first team squad that they are trusted. Full story here.
See you all on the next live blog ahead of and leading up to the game tonight on the home page from around 8.45am today.
Peace, Si.
