Sources: Josh Acheampong 'not for sale' but player side could change that stance

It's getting a bit awkward

As reported by SPTC Sources recently, Crystal Palace are one of many teams who have asked Chelsea about the availability of defender Josh Acheampong this summer.

Chelsea’s stance on the youngster has always been that he is ‘not for sale’ this summer, and the ball is obviously in Chelsea’s court because the 20-year-old has a contract until 2029, and there is also belief that Chelsea might have an option to extend it by another year.

So, Chelsea have kept a strong stance on Acheampong, and they see him effectively as one of the ‘indispensables’ in their squad.
