An update on the striker situation
Chelsea are in a bit of a limbo situation right now when it comes to knowing what to do about getting a new striker.
The club are aware that this is one of the most important decisions that they get spot on this summer, and they know the need to bring in a top quality goal scoring number nine is a hugely important need. This is why they are seriously considering all potential options.
Obviously first and foremost they would love to sign Victor Osimhen this summer as their dream number one target. However, it might only stay as a dream this summer due to the asking price that Napoli will set. I’m not ruling it out, but to me this always has looked very unrealistic. I don’t see it as impossible though.
Chelsea are looking at other younger options as well, but these will be players under the remit of being a little too raw to lead the line now and would probably not been seen as the answer yet. Names such as Vitor Roque and Gift Orban are being looked at.
