Morning all,
Here we are then, into November already! I hope you all had a good Halloween weekend whatever it is you may have gotten up to! We took Solly trick or treating for the first time and he absolutely loved it!
Any weekend can also be made much better if Chelsea win, and Chelsea did just that on Halloween day, beating Manchester United 2-0 at home. You can read my reactions to that here as well as see all the stats and ratings.
Morgan Rogers was given a guard of honour to score his goal mind! It was a very strong and powerful run from the Blues attacker, Romeo Lavia did well too. I spotted this angle here of the goal and it got me noticing two things.
Estevao Willian got a rare start under Xabi Alonso, and he took his chance, playing well. But is there anything underlying between him and the Blues boss? This is something I’ve been asked a lot so I checked in with sources. Their response can be found here.
You can read every word Alonso said after the win here, covering his thoughts on Estevao’s performance, Mike Penders, Romeo Lavia, and the overall performance.
As always, you can get all your latest Chelsea news in our Blues News Report here, covering all you need to know from Sunday.
See you all on the next Live Blog from around 8.45am on the home page, where you can put your thoughts on the United game!
Peace, Si.
