First of all today, we have some injury updates via our inside sources on Romeo Lavia, Carney Chukwuemeka, Reece James, Christopher Nkunku and Benoit Badiashile here. Find out when they are all expected back!

There was some comments reported on Nkunku this week that I wanted to touch on across two articles, one leading in to the next. Basically I think we need to be very careful about piling too much pressure and hope on Nkunku’s return, which isn’t even due for at least two months time. We need talisMEN and not a talisMAN. So to begin with, check in on this article here.

Then when you have finish that one, I have one here on how Cole Palmer can become one talisman for us but again, we must also be very careful with him. He looks like a real gem and is superbly technical. I’ve not seen a better ball striker at that level, but we must allow him time and to make mistakes.

Sticking on the subject of Palmer and since our man Luke Rushbrook did such a superb job scouting Mykhailo Mudryk’s Ukraine performance from the weekend, we got him scouting Palmer and Noni Madueke’s England U21 performance from Monday night here. Thankfully, he has a much more positive report for this one!
