Morning all,

First and foremost, Happy Birthday to my amazing Mum, the Queen of our family! Dad (I know you’re reading, say Happy Birthday to her and I’ll see her later 😂).

To the football content now! England in the Euros yesterday…… Less said about that the better! Marc Cucurella was VERY good for Spain though!

As always, head to yesterday’s live blog first this morning as this is where you will find all the latest updates on all the transfer rumours going around, and any sourced stuff I got given during the day. Latest here.

The only real thing to add from late over night is Fabrizio Romano saying Chelsea are still working on the Samu Omorodion deal. It’s not over, contacts are still taking place.

As always, I did have some sourced info out first thing yesterday morning - situations could have already changed or moved on since then.

On Michael Olise, confidence is building now from outside sources and not just our own here. There’s still some bits to sort out and it’s not done yet, but Chelsea now getting very close to securing a deal to sign Olise. Latest from SPTC sources here. Another word on this - just remember how long deals like Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez took - these deals for top class players can take time. I’m not saying it definitely gets done by the way, but it CAN take some time.

My other sourced story is on striker situations and how there is still nothing yet set in stone on what kind of striker we will go for, proven or unproven. Chelsea have been considering both, for many reasons, and I explain the plans for that and much more inside stuff on strikers and the thinking behind it all in here via SPTC sources.

Chelsea could be looking to sign an academy player from Aston Villa as part of Ian Maatsen being sold to them. It could also still be Jhon Duran. But either way, our new analyst Dylan has taken a look at some potential academy players we could move for from Villa, or who would be worth moving for, in here.

Not sure what happened to Luke today 😂 But I’m sure if he’s got anything then he’ll have it out later today!

Right, I fully expect to have to jump on the Substack App chat section today, tomorrow, and maybe even Sunday as I exit the site for a couple days. I’ll deliver any news I get on the app and if anything big goes off that I need to speak on, I’ll jump on there for that too. I might even do a video update this weekend as I’m still unsure if we can do a Podcast. Let’s see what happens. Either way, we got Rob Pratley coming on the next Pod for a big transfer special!
