Enzo Fernandez may have played for Chelsea yesterday and was even handed the captains armband when he came on, but the saga is not over yet.
It went past the 5pm deadline on Friday that Chelsea had set for any suitors to sign Fernandez for their required £120m fee, and the club communicated via media briefings that the player is now ‘expected’ to stay at Stamford Bridge.
