Sources: Cole Palmer set for scan this week, Sources: Jackson & Nkunku sales - Simons and Garnacho latest, Blues ease past Hammers, Cannot understand why we aren't improving the back, Much more.....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 25th August 2025!
Morning all,
I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed Chelsea smashing West Ham. What a great result!
I’ve got some thoughts from the game in general here that is all (mostly) positive.
You will know by now that I find it absolutely puzzling that we are now into the last week of the transfer window and we haven’t signed a new goalkeeper or a new centre back. This should have literally been one of our priorities and I’m annoyed that it looks like we wont be addressing it. I write here that I genuinely believe we are a top class GK and dominant CB away from challenging for it all this season, yet our focus remains on just buying even more attackers. Make it make sense.
Cole Palmer is injured. He’s set for a scan this week and I have some exclusive sourced details on that and how long he could be missing for in here. The international break may come at the perfect time for us and Cole.
I had another sourced article out on the latest situations with Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Jackson, Xavi Simons, and Alejandro Garnacho. You can read here what the conditions Chelsea have set for the Jackson and Nkunku deals and much more.
And as always on a Sunday night, I rounded up all your latest Chelsea transfer news and general news in the same place and put it in the Blues News Report here.
Thanks for stopping by, see you on the next live blog from around 8.45am today! It’s a bank holiday in the UK so if you’re lucky enough to have a day off, enjoy! I’ll be here working all day :)
Peace, Si.
