Sources: Clearlake might sell up! Shots fired by both sides in 'civil war', The community wants Viktor Gyokeres & Benjamin Sesko over Osimhen! Best ever Clearlake/Boehly signing? News roundups, More..
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 12th September 2024!
Morning all,
We will have the latest SPTC Podcast out today. We tried to get Ben Jacobs in to speak on all the ownership stuff but he is away. However, we have booked him for next week instead now and to be honest, that is better as we are expecting more developments and movements to speak on between now and then.
Content is coming in thick and fast, mainly about all this ownership nonsense and the stadium redevelopment plans. Loads of briefings out there right now. Check out all of the latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.
I also put out our own latest sourced info on the ownership battle yesterday morning that would have dropped into your inboxes. If you’ve not read that yet though, it’s here. I recommend that you check this out, especially if you join me as part of the huge 93% majority who wants Todd Boehly over Clearlake/Behdad Eghbali as our owner.
Speaking of Ben Jacobs, he put out a hugely long and informative exclusive on all the above this week with some incredible details and stories on what is going on. I’ve honed in on some important quotes here in my ‘shots fired’ article.
Away from the ownership noise now, just for a bit, and back to the striker noise. Although some fans might be just as annoyed hearing about the striker situation that should have been sorted years ago than they are about the ownership situation! Even still, Viktor Gyokeres is your guy, he is the one that the community want Chelsea to go for, and then Benjamin Sesko, and then Victor Osimhen IF we cannot land any of the other two. It’s clear, see the results in here.
Main man up now. Luke has started a great debate today by asking who is the best signing of the Clearlake/Boehly era so far? You can check that out in full here.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today!
Peace, Si.
