It has been reported in the last week or so that Chelsea have an option to pay Manchester United a ‘significant fee’ to break the obligation to buy Jadon Sancho for £25m this summer.
Sancho is on loan from United but Chelsea have to buy him as long as they finish above 14th in the Premier League, which they will.
But a surprise clause in the deal means Chelsea can send him back if they pay a fee, but the actual fee they will need to pay has been unclear and not really been reliably reported yet.
