Morning all,

Well, this week has at least been busier than last week so far, even if nothing definitive is happening yet. We’ve seen plenty of Chelsea briefings out, and some links to new players. So no tumbleweed yet this week.

We have a few transfer links to cover for today’s newsletter. We can start with rounding up all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.

I had a sourced article out yesterday on Crystal Palace defender Maxence Lacroix. Our interest in him was reiterated to me by sources earlier this week, so just some fresh words and report on that here.

Chelsea have also been linked with a new right back this week, which could suggest the Malo Gusto to Manchester City noise has some substance to it. Grab that full story here.

So much PR out on the left back situation this week and whether we will replace Marc Cucurella. Well, there’s been solid links to new left backs in the last day or so, which gives me some hope. You can get the names of those and the latest news on it all here.

Tottenham are already showing so much more ambition in the transfer market than Chelsea are, at least in public. Chelsea hopefully are just working in silence, but I have some concerns here. We need to follow Spurs in backing our manager.
