Whilst things have been mostly very quiet for Chelsea in the transfer market so far, it does not mean they have not been doing anything.

Chelsea have made a number of attempts to sign different players and have made countless enquiries for various options.

For a number of reasons, some of them have not advanced. I’ve already explained the left back situation this morning in another article. But some players have rejected a move to Chelsea. But as well as that, Chelsea have ended interest and enquiries in some players purely due to the initial fee that has been told to them to even open negotiations.
