Chelsea have some key transfer targets for this summer’s transfer window, and some of them are deals they have been working on for some time.
It is true that Chelsea are working behind the scenes at the moment in an attempt to get some transfer deals done. They are working on both outgoings and incomings as we speak.
Issues such as an inflated market in terms of fees, our strict wage structure, lack of Europe, and the World Cup being played this summer, is all contributing to an awkward summer to do business in. But Chelsea are working as we speak, even though everything remains rather quiet out there at the moment - at least in the public eye. Many hurdles to overcome.
