Plenty of time left but outgoings are slow

Chelsea still have plenty of time left to sort out outgoing transfer deals this summer transfer window, but the clock is ticking all the same.

The window closes on September the 1st, meaning there is around six weeks left now for Chelsea to get their deals done. As I’ve reported, we need to make outgoing sales in order to move for our main bigger targets this summer.

This is due to the fact that Chelsea have still not managed to land a FOS sponsorship deal, and they have no European football. They also need to stick within the financial rules. I always said that it wouldn’t need to be buy to sell, and it’s not as such. But we do need to make room in the squad first and also sell to buy for the bigger signings we are targeting.
