Sources: Chelsea still trying to make their 'obsession' work this summer

Another priority target is still being chased despite it looking difficult

As well as my report this morning saying Chelsea are still moving to try and sign their priority transfer target in midfield this summer, Adam Wharton, they have also not yet given up on their other priority target in another position, despite it appearing very difficult now.

We are starting to see Chelsea spring into life in the summer market now, and we are also seeing them back Xabi Alonso in what he wants to do with his squad.
