Despite my reporting on this site yesterday, Chelsea are absolutely NOT going to be giving up on trying to land their top priority transfer target this summer.
As you will remember, I put out a report yesterday with more midfielder names that Chelsea are looking into signing this summer - but this changes nothing right now.
They are players that Chelsea could look into signing as well as the top target, or they are players Chelsea could look into signing if they truly cannot land their top target.
