Sources: Chelsea not done for new arrivals AFTER a CB, Sources: Chelsea negotiations for Jeremy Jacquet, Obvious to see John Terry's preferred style of play, Easy start one, bench, one drop one.....
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 20th January 2026!
Morning all,
The end is near, I can see it… Nope, not the end of the world, the end of something else that has lasted equally as long as the universe so far, January! We are finally into the 20s of the month, what a slog it’s been. We can almost say Christmas was a month ago!
To the Chelsea content….
Round up all of your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here. This is where you’ll find out the very latest on the Jeremy Jacquet pursuit and any other bits of transfer news brewing up as we head towards the end of the world, I mean January.
I had a sourced report on the Jacquet negotiations that would have actually gone to your emails late on Sunday night as we had some info. So if you did miss that, it’s probably gone on a lot since then, but you can check it here.
After a new centre back, Chelsea are not done in the winter transfer market. There is a real chance we could see one, or even two more new arrivals come in before the end of the window - and player sales too! Find out all about that and what positions we are looking to add here.
I love John Terry. I share so many opinions on football with him. And you can tell the style of play he likes to watch and would like to see Chelsea play! His recent comments on Manchester United and a video he put out previewing our Brentford game, says it all here.
And for a bit of fun. I saw what I believe to be a very easy start one, bench one, drop one question related to former and current Chelsea players. A chance to pick yours in this here too. Tomorrow I will try and do a much tougher one of these!
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today.
Peace, Si.

Look at the defenders we had at the club and just let go. We are again buying potential again for a lot of money. Do other clubs see us coming probably because we have mugs written on our foreheads.
