Chelsea’s transfer deadline day was dramatic as promised, but not in a good way.
The Blues had an up and down transfer pursuit trying to sign Lamine Camara of Monaco.
They believed they had got close to signing him earlier in the day after they sent a second offer in that they believed would be accepted based off discussions with Monaco.
However, the offer was rejected and Monaco moved the goalposts on the fee. Chelsea walked away.
