The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 9th December 2025!
Morning,
I hope you’ve had a good start to your week so far. Chelsea are in action TONIGHT in the Champions League against Atalanta over in Italy. They are currently 12th in the Serie A, but we know anything can happen in these games.
Check out all your latest general Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in the same place here.
I also had TWO sourced transfer articles out yesterday with your inside drops.
The first one is on whether Chelsea will move for a new striker in the January transfer window because Liam Delap is injured again. There is also a striker who we ‘own’ already and could come in. Get the full story on that here.
The next sourced article is on midfielders. Is there a chance of a new midfielder arriving in the winter? Well, yes, possibly. Again, the full story is found here, with THREE targets named and explained.
Robert Sanchez has been much improved of late, and we have all acknowledged this. He needed to improve, but he deserves the praise he has been getting. Sanchez himself has also acknowledged his improvements and what he has been doing to make sure he maintains form in here.
The magic of the FA Cup is really heating up now as all the big guns entered the draw yesterday. Chelsea and the rest of the Premier League were in the draw, and I was hopeful for us getting an away tie at one club in particular who are local to me, Weston Super Mare. Unfortunately, my dreams were shattered and Chelsea got a boring draw against Charlton Athletic, and Weston have to go up to Grimsby of all places! Get the full story on that here.
See you all on the next live blog around 8.45am on the home page in the lead up to tonight’s game.
Peace, Si.

Is it funny or concerning that we all thought Man United looked awful and were sort of going nowhere in the short term. They beat us and are now equal on points after beating Wolves. If we are behind them at the end of the season it won’t be top four or five for us. Bit like the England cricket team loads of talent but very short on the mentality front.
