This transfer window has been a very odd one. The Alejandro Garnacho hype has been a little bit odd, and the fact he is allegedly turning down Bayern Munich and any other club and is only desperately waiting for Chelsea, is also a little odd. The point is, he’s actually been a Chelsea ‘target’ for many years and the club scouts have had him on the radar since he was in the youth setup at Atletico Madrid. Chelsea scouts have been racking up the data on him ever since and had passed all his info onto the new directors when they came in.
