Chelsea have a chance to roll over the confidence and momentum from thrashing Barcelona this week and making another big statement against league leaders Arsenal on Sunday.
I have a bit of a preview for the Arsenal game here. I am actually feeling confident ahead of this one but that also scares me a bit…
I do think that Craig Burley has made some decent points on how Arsenal are a different side to Barcelona and that actually, in a strange way, we will have to up our levels even more to beat them. Not because we weren’t superb against Barcelona, but because Arsenal will be a much tougher team to score against. Words from Burley in here.
I also had a sourced article out yesterday on Mike Maignan to Chelsea. Have they made fresh contact to sign him? Nope, not yet, as far as we are aware. I have the full drop on that, Filip Jorgensen, and some general goalkeeper stuff here.
There has been some more noise on Murillo to Chelsea too this week, the second lot of noise we have heard about. There’s certainly legs to this, and I have the latest info on it here as well as my own info.
