No other media outlet or source had any idea that we were going for Welbeck, or that Xabi Alonso had asked for Martinez. This is Chelsea keeping things tight and not wanting anything out there. They were very annoyed about their offer for Alex Scott going public as well, which is one of the reasons that I still believe that we are putting a move for Scott in place behind the scenes.
