Chelsea’s owners have put a lot of trust and faith in the four directors in charge of recruitment and transfer decisions at the club right now, and they are fully behind them and the decisions they have made.

Sporting Directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart have come under a lot of criticism, and even they, and the owners, will hold their hands up to making some mistakes along the way.

However, overall there is a big belief in the project and the way of recruiting, and they fully back their operations and more recent transfer business.
