The Blues still seeking new midfielders

There is a decent chance that Chelsea still sell a couple of current midfielders this summer, and possibly even loan one out.

There are some decisions that need to be made in that area of the pitch, but it will of course be dependent on what serious offers, if any, come in for Andrey Santos and Enzo Fernandez.

There is still a chance that Dario Essugo requests to go on loan as well, depending on the activity in midfield - he would like to play some football next season.

Even still, Chelsea continue to look for new midfielders regardless of all the above, and they would have already signed Granit Xhaka from Sunderland if they could have agreed a fee they were happy with. Chelsea could still sign two new midfielders this summer, with Adam Wharton very much still high on the priority list as well.
