The Enzo Fernandez saga is not over yet and in fact, it could even drag some more.
Chelsea’s soft deadline of last Friday is almost now a week old, but there is still every chance that Enzo Fernandez leaves Chelsea this window.
There are media games being played from both sides, and there is a sense that Manchester City are perhaps ‘doing a Chelsea’ now by leaving it late with Fernandez, knowing that the player desperately wants to move so believing Chelsea will sell whilst time is running out. It’s a risky play as Chelsea did when they signed Fernandez from Benfica, and also one that they might not even do. Some sources still believe they MIGHT make their play any minute now.
