Sources: Chelsea discussing signing a new midfielder in January

Yesterday, we bought you some sourced news on some centre back names that Chelsea are looking into for a possible January move.

Although, nothing has been decided on that yet and it could be a position that they see out on and then sign in the summer instead.

But a position that could actually end up becoming more of a priority this winter is the centre midfield position.

As you will know, Chelsea are suffering a bit of an injury crisis in this area with Romeo Lavia basically never available, and Dario Essugo out for the long term.

Chelsea have gotten a little concerned about the midfield.
