Sources: Chelsea and Pochettino aligned for squad building

Chelsea have continued talks with Mauricio Pochettino this week as he looks to soon be installed as our next permanent manager.

The club have always appreciated Pochettino and were close to hiring him on a couple of occasions before. But this time around, it looks like it is about to soon be confirmed, although not fully done yet at the time of writing this.

Final talks have been happening this week to iron out all the details and one of the main things on the agenda once again was squad building.

I am told that Pochettino is largely in-sync with what the Chelsea owners and directors are planning for the squad across the board, and this includes players sales as well as positions they want to target.
