Sources: BlueCo stepping back up with the multi-club mission
A couple countries targeted
Chelsea’s owners soon created BlueCo not long after taking control of the London club, with the idea of running a multi-club operation.
They soon took control of Strasbourg not long after that, with the French side becoming the second club owned by BlueCo under the model, with Chelsea as the flagship club.
But in the four years since they bought Chelsea FC, BlueCo have yet to acquire any other clubs to add to the model. We have been hearing about a few attempts to buy some clubs along the way, but nothing has yet come to fruition.
Things on the multi-club front have gone very quiet lately, but SPTC Sources are hearing about some fresh noise.
